Lamar Odom Set to Return to the NBA as a Coaching Staff
According to Lakers News, Khloe Kardashian’s ex is looking forward to returning to the NBA, this time as a coaching staff.
According to the sports website, the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year who left the games for a life as part of the Kardashian family recently opened up in an interview about his dreams, how he spoke with the head coach of Lakers Luke Walton and the positive response he got.
All through 2016, the former sportsman made the headlines for all the wrong reasons after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in 2015, overdosed with drugs. After he was discharged from the hospital, Odom concluded his divorce from Khloe Kardashian, spent 35 days in rehab but now looks healthier and ready to take on a new phase of his life.
In his interview with TMZ, 37-year-old Lamar Odom said he told Luke Walton about his dreams as a coaching staff and the coach is ‘open’ to this request.
“He’ll see about it,” says Odom of Walton’s positive response about joining the Lakers coaching staff.
Will Odom get a shot at the NBA again?
New photos of Khloe Kardashian’s ex suggest a man who has put his troubling history in the past, and Lakers News adds that Luke Walton, who is still adjusting as the head coach, ‘may not want the added distraction of Odom’s presence if he still hasn’t gotten his life straightened out off the court’.
But Odom looks like he has ‘straightened’ himself out.
